Midori melon liqueur ( Jap. ミドリメロンリキュール, Midori Meron rikyūru ) is a fruity-aromatic liqueur with melon flavor , which from Japanese beverage manufacturer Suntory is produced.

Outside of Japan, it is only produced in Mexico and has also been offered in Central Europe for several years. Its predecessor, a liqueur called Hermes, was initially only moderately successful, but this changed when Suntory adapted the taste to taste preferences in the USA and finally presented the successor Midori in 1978 in the legendary New York club Studio 54 . The drink is sold in more than 50 states.

Midori is one of the fruit flavor liqueurs and has an alcohol content of 20% vol. Its strikingly strong green color is typical, from which the name midori for 'green' is derived.
