rent, buy, live was a pseudo-docu-soap that was broadcast from October 13, 2008 to September 6, 2016 by the German broadcaster VOX .

concept

In each broadcast, the property search of different protagonists was shown in three different storylines. The filming locations were mostly properties that were actually for sale or rent. According to VOX, the real estate agents also carried out their activities in real life without exception. The broadcast slot for the format was the evening program from Monday to Friday.

According to VOX spokeswoman Julia Kikillis, the stories about the apartment hunters were freely retold. The people looking for accommodation were normal people interested in living, actors or actors from other industries.
