Hanka Rackwitz

Hanka Rackwitz (born April 19, 1969 in Schafstädt ) is a German real estate agent . Rackwitz first became famous in 2000 as a participant in the reality TV format Big Brother , from 2009 she was regularly seen as an actress in the pseudo-documentary rent, buy, live . In 2017, she took part in the TV show I'm a Star - Get Me Out of Here! .

life and career

Rackwitz comes from a family of teachers and studied at the Leipzig Karl Marx University on teaching of German language and literature and art , but did not occur clerkship at.

In 2000, she took part in the second season of the television show Big Brother from September 16 to November 11 . Due to her extravagant hairstyle and a long-lasting argument with Christian Möllmann , another participant in the show, she was nicknamed the witch Hanka in the course of extensive media coverage by the Bild newspaper .

Rackwitz gained further notoriety through her participation in the scripted reality documentary rent, buy, live broadcast on VOX . From 2009 to 2016 she was seen in numerous episodes of the format and was one of the most famous actors on the show. Her engagement there followed further appearances on German television. Rackwitz was a participant in The Perfect Celebrity Dinner and played a supporting role as a broker in the episode The Black Widow of the TV series SOKO Leipzig . On June 12, 2013 she was a guest in Markus Lanz 's panel of the same name . In January 2017 she was a candidate in the on RTL broadcast eleventh season of I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here! , where she took second place after audience voting .

Rackwitz suffers from various anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders , which she has openly addressed since 2016. In April of the same year her book “Ich tick 'nicht proper” was published.

Rackwitz has lived in the St. Ulrich moated castle in Müelte on the Geiseltalsee since 2012 .
