Mihail Moraru

Mihail Moraru (born November 12, 1891 in Mediaş , Sibiu County ; † 1953 ) was a Romanian politician of the Romanian Workers' Party PMR (Partidul Muncitoresc Român) , who was a candidate for the Politburo of the Central Committee of the PMR between 1948 and 1952 .

Life

After primary school, Mihail Moraru attended commercial school for three years and worked as a foundryman. In 1946 he became a member of the Chamber of Deputies (Adunarea Deputaților) and represented in this until 1948 the constituency of Buzău . In 1948 he became a member of the Grand National Assembly (Marea Adunare Națională) and represented the constituency of Brăila in this until 1952 . He became a member of the Central Committee (ZK) of the PMR at the Sixth Party Congress of the PMR from February 21 to 23, 1948 and also exercised this function until his death. At the same time he also became a candidate for the Politburo of the PMR at this party congress and was a member of this body until May 27, 1952.
