Mike Clifton

Michael "Mike" Clifton (* 1970 in California ) is an American programmer .

Life

Mike Clifton was born in California in 1970 and programmed the shareware programs Mechanisto (a 3D program for Macintosh ) and Sculptor in 1994 . He was also involved in the productions of PhotoVista , RealVR Player , Reality Studio and LM Stitch . In 1995, Mike Clifton was an Apple employee . He also worked on Photoshop CS 3 and CS4. From 1997 to 1999 he developed the 3D graphics tool sPatch , which was developed in C ++. He stopped developing the software because he couldn't find the time to do it. In the same year, 1999, he founded the one-man company LostMarble and began developing the Moho software . Parts of sPatch were also transferred to Moho. In addition to Moho, he developed Papagayo , an open source lip-syncing program. In 2006, Clifton sold his Moho to eFrontier because of stress. The new owners took over marketing while Clifton could develop it further. A little later the product went to Smith Micro Software and was called Anime Studio from then on . Mike Clifton is still developing it; Papagayo is also further developed by him, even if only sporadically. Clifton is currently employed by Smith Micro.
