Microregion (Corsica)
A microregion is an amalgamation of several municipalities in Corsica .
Out of 360 Corsican municipalities, 246 are members of such a micro-region. There are 19 in total. The largest microregion is the Ajaccio microregion around the city of Ajaccio . It comprises 61 communities. Microregions exist in Corsica alongside the Communautés de communes .
