Milan Duke
Milan Herzog (born August 23, 1908 in Vrbovec , Croatia , † April 20, 2010 in Los Angeles , California , USA) was an American producer of scientific films. Before becoming a producer, he was a newspaper correspondent, judge, director of the US Department of War Information, and commentator for the Voice of America .

After he fled to Paris with his family before the First World War , he studied law there and worked as a translator, journalist and judge. After the rise of Adolf Hitler, he and his family fled again, this time to the USA. He began his career with the Encyclopaedia Britannica in 1946 as a "staff producer" in Chicago. As Vice President of Production at Encyclopaedia Britannica, he was ultimately responsible for around 400 academic films that were shown in classrooms across the United States.
