Milan Jovanić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Милан Јованић ; born July 31, 1985 in Novi Sad , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian football goalkeeper .

Career

Jovanić moved in 2005 on the recommendation of Frank Arok from FK Obilić to the Australian club Perth Glory and came during the premiere season of the A-League as a substitute goalkeeper behind Jason Petkovic to a league use. After one season, the former U-19 selection player returned to Serbia and subsequently played for FK Grafičar Belgrade and the second division club FK Novi Sad . For the 2009/10 season Jovanić moved to the first division promoted FK Spartak Subotica and was the goalkeeper there for the entire season. His performances there gave him his debut in the Serbian national team on April 7, 2010 in a friendly against Japan . During the 2010 summer break, Jovanić moved to the Polish first division club Wisła Krakau . In the summer break of 2012 he was suspended and only played for the junior team. At the beginning of December 2012, he then terminated his contract with Wisła. The next day, however, Wisła requested the immediate return within three days because they had not agreed to terminate the contract.
