Milden Castle

Milden Castle is a ruined castle on Foxburrow Hill in the village of Milden in the English county of Suffolk .

The moth was erected in the 12th century. Today only the 4 meter high mound made of earth, which was once surrounded by a moat , remains . It is considered a Scheduled Monument . Today nothing can be seen of the castle courtyard north of the mound, as its moat was completely destroyed by quarrying work.
