Miles Flint
Miles Flint (born July 1953 ) is a British manager and since June 2004 the managing director of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB.
Life
Miles Flint graduated from the University of London and studied business administration from Cranfield University . He started his management activities at Sony in 1991 as Managing Director of Sony Broadcast & Communications UK. In January 1998 he was promoted to Managing Director of Sony Broadcast & Professional Europe. Miles Flint and his team were responsible for marketing and supporting products and services in the business solutions business for customers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. After another three years he was offered a position on the board of Sony Europe and became the managing director of Sony UK Ltd.
In July 2002 Miles Flint was promoted to Managing Director at Sony Business Europe. He was also responsible for two other Sony business areas: Recording Media & Energy and Semiconductor & Electronic Solutions. In November 2003 he was given the position of Managing Director at Sony Europe European Marketing.
Miles lives in Maidenhead, UK with his wife and two children.
