Milheiro

The Milheiro was a Portuguese measure of volume and its use in the salt trade made it a measure of salt . The measure was widespread in Porto . The smaller measure was the raza . On some islands in East India , such as Sulu , it was the middle name for the local small fruit measure raga.

• 1 milheiro = 336 razas = 148 hectoliters
• 1 raza = 2222 Parisian cubic inches = 44.075 liters .
