The Dr.-Erwin-Pröll-Warte (also Millenniumswarte ) is a lookout point on the summit of the Hirschenkogel ( 1340  m above sea level ) on the border between Lower Austria and Styria .

The waiting room, named after the former Governor of Lower Austria Erwin Pröll , is located in the immediate vicinity of the Liechtensteinhaus , a mountain restaurant. The wooden structure was built in 1999 with a total height of 30.5 meters, the viewing platform is 25 meters high. On the occasion of the award of honorary citizenship of the municipality of Semmering to Pröll in the same year, the control room was named after him.

The waiting room is on the Lower Austrian regional hiking trail, which leads over the summit of the Hirschenkogel. The view extends from the Semmering-Rax massif and the view of Styria to the Vienna Basin and Burgenland to Lake Neusiedl.
