MimoDB

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

MimoDB is an online biochemistry database with peptides that bind to small molecules , nucleic acids , proteins , cells and tissues .

Peptides that can bind to a certain point on the surface of another molecule sometimes have individual different amino acid sequences and sometimes different protein folds , but usually have a similar protein surface ( mimotopes ). The peptides contained in MimoDB were each identified by a molecular display .
