Mirage was a visual kei - Indie band under the label of Matina , founded in 1997 and disbanded 2000th

history

When the band was formed in 1997, the band consisted of singer Tomo (ex. Sense of Shape ), the two guitarists Yayoi (ex. Sense of Shape ) and Rui, Kisaki (ex. La: Sadie’s ) on bass and drummer Hiro (ex. L ~ CYFER ), who later changed his name to Ayame.

On April 7th, en: Rouge , their first demo tape, was released. This was followed by the maxi singles Silhouette , Syndrome and Genesis… . In August they released the demo tape MIRAGE and then began their tour.

The mini-album Arcadia , which was released a short time later, was very successful and was well received by the fans. Then the maxi single 流星 ( Ryūsei ) was released with three songs. During their concerts they distributed two more demo tapes : 黒 の 楽 園 ( Kuro no rakuen ) and 赤 の 楽 園 ( Aka no rakuen ). On May 21, 1998 released Mirage Rain , the last maxi single with Tomo as the singer, which also contains three tracks.

Thereupon Tomo left the band, but was replaced a short time later by Akira (ex. L ~ CYFER ), with whose entry the band got a bit harder, darker and the pieces became less melodic. The first official release with Akira was the single GRAVE ~ 古 エ ノ 眠 リ ~ ( GRAVE ~ Koe no nemuri ~ ). Risk en Eve was published on December 23, 1998 . This mini-album is one of the most successful releases from MIRAGE's discography, with songs like BACTERIA , Feeling Melody or Risk en Eve .

The next single ... Air was released in the summer of 1999, this time with only two songs.

While the group was releasing a new video DEATH AND REBIRTH , rumors of a possible breakup were already circulating. Eventually the band split in January 2000, but released Box to ESCAPE in February , which included a live video and a CD.
