Mirami is a Ukrainian girl group founded in 2010 in the field of pop and dance music.

Surname

The name, Mirami, is a modification of the Spanish sentence “¡Mira mí!”, Which roughly means “Look at me!” .

history

The Mirami project was founded in 2010 by producers Andriy Bakun, Oleksandr Duda, Oleh Kovalskyy and Petro Huzar. After the founding, the producers began looking for suitable band members. After two auditions, the singer and journalist Julia Ivashkiv was selected as the first member of the band. It was followed by the singer Yana Snitkus, also a budding journalist. The third selected singer, Martha Moh, was replaced at short notice by Oksana Karpiak, as the producers wanted a blonde woman. Shortly after the band was complete, recording began for the first single. The song Sexualna became a hit in Poland and made the group known in the rest of Europe. In September 2011 the debut album Miramimania was released and in February 2012 the single Venus . In the spring of 2012, Yana Snitkus decided to leave the group and was replaced by the model and singer Tatiana Ivanov. Shortly afterwards, the single Summer Dreams was released in collaboration with singer LayZee , which marked the final breakthrough in the international dance scene. In autumn 2013 Julia Ivashkiv left the band and was replaced by Kateryna Kuharieva.
