The Missisa Lake is a lake in the north of the Canadian province of Ontario .
Missisa Lake is located to the west of the James Bay Lowlands , 210 km west of James Bay at an altitude of 170 m . The 183 km² large lake measures 22 km in NNW-SSE direction. The maximum sea width is 12.5 km. The lake is drained on the southeast bank from the Missisa River to the Attawapiskat River, which runs further north .
