The Missisa River is a right tributary of the Attawapiskat River in the northeast of the Canadian province of Ontario .
River course
The Missisa River forms the outflow of Missisa Lake . He leaves the lake on its southeastern shore. The Missisa River flows in a predominantly northerly direction through the west of the James Bay Lowlands . After about 120 km it reaches the Attawapiskat River, which flows to the east. The Missisa River drains an area of approximately 3800 km².
