Mitsubishi Fuso Super Great ( Japanese 三菱 ふ そ う · ス ー パ ー グ レ ー ト , Mitsubishi Fusō Sūpā Gurēto ) is a series of heavy commercial vehicles from Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation with two to four axles and gross weights of up to 25 tons. In addition to the Canter and Fighter, the Super Great is the largest model from Fuso on the Japanese market and the only one with a width of 2.5 meters. Compared to Europe, solo vehicles play a much more important role in Japan than semi-trailers or trailers, but the Super Great is offered as a flatbed vehicle with a length of up to 12 meters. In Japan, Asia, Africa and South America, where the vehicles are sold, the main competitors are the Nissan Diesel Quon , Nissan Diesel Big Thumb , Isuzu Giga and the Hino Profia . Most of the time, the models can be identified by the diamond logo (in Fuso in silver) and the model name on the cabin. The old Mitsubishi lettering is mostly used on the back of the vehicle.

The Super Great introduced a number of innovations in Japan: When it was launched, the Super Great was the first four-axle vehicle made in Japan to use wheels and tires of the same size on all four axles, so that only a spare wheel had to be carried and weight could be saved . In addition, the first axle was for the first time attached in the same position as on the two- and three-axle vehicles under the cab and engine. The Super Great have had a driver airbag since 2000 .

In May 2014 the Super Great V was presented. The "V" denotes the 5th generation of the Super Great, but is also an allusion to "Victory" for the particular fuel efficiency and economy of the current edition of the truck: The Japanese consumption targets are undercut by 5% (what to Tax breaks), compared to the competition, the consumption advantage should be 10%.
