The communications of the Floristic-Sociological Working Group are a geobotanical - plant-sociological periodical that publishes mainly German-language original works on floristic and vegetation studies in Central Europe and their theoretical foundations and applications in practice. The series is published by the Floristic-Sociological Working Group .

They appeared from 1928 to 1939 (Issue 1–4) under the name “ Communications of the Floristic-Sociological Working Group in Lower Saxony ”. After the re-establishment of the Floristic-Sociological Working Group, the series of publications was continued from 1949 to 1980 under the name “ Mitteilungen der Florist-Sociologische Arbeitsgemeinschaft NF” (new series) in a new number (Issue 1–22). The editorial team of the series has been headed since 1928 by Reinhold Tüxen , the spiritual father of plant sociology in Germany.

Since Reinhold Tüxen's death, the announcements of the Floristic-Sociological Working Group have been published under the name “TUEXENIA” again with a new number from 1981. The volumes are usually published annually in a volume of around 400 pages. The contributions are examined by an editorial board (peer review). The editor is Hartmut Dierschke . The works published in TUEXENIA are taken into account in numerous unit bodies .
