The medium wave transmitter Sélestat is an inactive broadcasting facility of the French radio south of Sélestat . The 300 kW system served to broadcast France Inter on the medium wave frequency 1161 kHz until 1996 and to broadcast the France Bleu Alsace program on the frequency 1278 kHz until January 1, 2016 .

Two separate directional antenna systems were used as the antenna , each of which consists of three base-fed, self-radiating transmission masts that are isolated from earth and arranged on a slightly curved line.
