Mizuki Fukumura ( Japanese 譜 久 村 聖 , Fukumura Mizuki ; born October 30, 1996 in Tokyo , Tokyo Prefecture ) is a member of the Japanese girl group Morning Musume under the umbrella of Hello! Projects . She joined him in 2008 as Hello! Pro Egg at. In 2010 she won the Kyuukie Audition and became part of the 9th generation of Morning Musume.

Life

Fukumura auditioned for Hello! Pro Egg participated and then became part of the 5th generation of the group, together with Rie Kaneko and Akari Takeuchi. Before that, in 2006, she had taken part in a competition called "Kirarin ☆ Girl Contest 2006" and achieved second place.

As Hello! Fukumura was chosen for the Pro Egg, the Shogu Chara Egg! to be continued in the second generation together with Akari Saho, Irori Maeda and Nanami Tanabe. There she took over the role of "Amulet Heart" and the lead vocals for the single "Watashi no Tamago". In 2010 Fukumura was part of her Hello! Pro Egg work as a background dancer in two of Erina Mano's music videos, in "Haru no Arashi" and "Onegai Dakara ...?".

Later that year, Fukumura submitted her application for Morning Musume's 9th Generation Kyuukie Audition. Her application song was "Maji Bomber" from the Berryz Koubou group , which is also a member of the Hello! Projects is. She made it to the third round of the audition, but then dropped out.

During the winter concert 2011 of the Hello! Projects the new, 9th generation Morning Musumes was presented. After producer Tsunku introduced the three winners of the final round, Erina Ikuta, Riho Sayashi and Kanon Suzuki, he surprisingly announced that Fukumura Mizuki would also be a member of the group. Fukumura, which as Hello! Pro Egg had worked as a background dancer at the concert, also only found out about it at that moment.

Fukumura was particularly successful with the sale of photo books and DVDs. In addition to a photo book showing generations 9 and 10, there were several publications as part of the Hawaii event. Fukumura's versions were the best-selling of the 9th and 10th generation and, after Sayumi Michishiges , the most sought-after of the whole group, although it overtook the latter in early 2013. She is currently the group's most successful cover girl. She has been featured on the cover of Young Gangan magazine five times .

At the end of the spring concert it was announced that from now on Fukumura would carry out the office of subleader together with Haruna Iikubo . When Sayumi Michishige left the group on November 26, 2014, Fukumura was given the position of leader.
