Moiro
Moiro (Μοιρώ) from Byzantion was a Greek poet of early Hellenism .
She was the mother (according to other sources, daughter) of the tragic poet Homeros , who lived at the beginning of the 3rd century, and was married to the philologist Andromachos .
She wrote numerous epigrams , two of which are preserved in the Anthologia Palatina . Ten hexameters have survived from the work Mnemosyne (Μνημοσύνη), which was written in epic meter . She also wrote a collection of Arai (Ἀραί; "Curses"), which is just as lost as a hymn to Poseidon .
