Molly Ridge is a tussock- overgrown mountain ridge on Bird Island in the South Georgia Archipelago in the South Atlantic . It extends west-southwest of Molly Hill .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1982 based on the name of the hill of the same name. Its name is derived from the name Mollymauk for the black- browed albatross , which breeds in large numbers on this hill.
