The Molodoï (Russian for "young") is an association founded in 1988 for alternative culture in Strasbourg .

history

The Molodoï started in 1988 by organizing concerts, radio broadcasts and a fanzine . After two years of work, today's event room was opened near the Laiterie in 1994 . Concerts, theater performances, lectures, exhibitions, debates, etc. are held there.

organization

The Molodoï association is run by a collegial administrative committee, the composition of which is decided at the general assembly.

The Molodoï makes its premises available to anyone who needs them for events and demands some kind of material, personal or financial consideration. The entrance fee may not be more than eight euros. Closed events cannot be held.

Molodoï is supported by the city of Strasbourg, but wants to support itself as much as possible.

reachability

The Molodoï is located southwest of the city center, on Rue du Ban de la Roche , house number 19. It can be reached with the Strasbourg tram lines B and F ( Laiterie stop ).
