Molopo

Molopo is a former municipality in the district Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Municipality , Province of North West in South Africa . The administrative seat was Tosca . In 2011 it was merged with the municipality of Kagisano to form the municipality of Kagisano-Molopo (NW397).

The municipality was named after the Molopo River , which partially forms the border with Botswana in the municipality . The area was 12,473 square kilometers.

Other localities in the former municipality are: Molopo and Pomfret .
