The Vere (Verre, Were) language, also known as Kobo or Mom Jango , is an Adamaua language and is a member of the Duru language group within the savannah languages .
It is spoken along the northern Nigerian - Cameroonian border.
The dialects of the language are Mom Jango and Momi aka Ziri . These two dialects are so different that they can be viewed as two different languages.
