The Mondello was an Italian measure of area, volume and weight.

Area measure

The measure of area was used in Palermo in Sicily .

• 1 Mondello = 4 Carozzi = 272.8575 square meters
• 1 Tumolo = 4 Mondelli = 1091.43 square meters

Volume and weight measurements

The measure was common on the island of Malta and Gozo .

• 1 Mondello = 4 Roteli in the salt trade

In the grain trade, the Salma had 16 Tumoli with 6 Mondelli each, see above

• 1 Salma colma = 295.325 liters , followed by 1 Mondello = 3.0763 liters
• 1 Salma rasa = 254.434 liters, followed by 1 Mondello = 2.65035 liters
