Monika Theis

Monika Theis (born April 22, 1969 in Salzgitter ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Theis took part in the German junior championship in Bulgaria in July 1988 with the German selection  and was fourth-best scorer of the Germans with 8.4 points per match. Between May and December 1989 she played six A-internationals for the FRG. At club level, Theis played for Bundesliga club MTV Wolfenbüttel until 1993.

Theis led the women of BC Wolfenbüttel in the 2004/05 season as a coach for promotion to the Bundesliga. She then looked after the BC at the beginning of the 2005/06 season in the top German division, in October 2005 it came to a separation. From April 2004 she was a trainer at MTV Börßum.

As a senior player, she took part in competitions, including German championships, with the MTV / BG Wolfenbüttel syndicate.
