Monscha

The Monscha , also Monka or Trubahuasch , was a measure of weight in Madagascar . The measure was only used for the trade in husked rice .

  • 1 Monscha = 6 pounds (Parisians) = 2.937 kilograms = around 3 kilograms

The Wuhl (Voule) was the according to with about ½ pound (Parisian) or about ¼ kilogram of rice as content.

  • 1 Satu ( Zatou ) = 100 Wuhl / Voule = 50 pounds (Parisians = 0.490 kilograms) = 24½ kilograms
