Voule

Voule was a small measure of weight on the island of Madagascar . The measure was a grain measure for unpeeled rice , for husked rice there was the Monscha / Monka or Troubahouache / Trubahurasch weighing around 2.937 kilograms .

  • 1 voule = ½ pound = about 250 grams
  • 12 Voules = 1 Monscha / Monka / Troubahouache
  • 100 Wuhl / Voule = Zatou / Satu = around 24.5 kilograms
