Montagut

The Montagut is the second highest mountain of the Massís de l'Ardenya with a height of 498.3 meters and is located in the area of ​​the city of Llagostera in northeastern Spain.

There is a transmitter on the summit. Next to it are the ruins of a medieval defense tower , the so-called Castell de Montagut . These ruins are under the number 971 BCIN-MH as Bé Cultural d'Interès Nacional under monument protection was lodged.
