Monte Cjavals

The Monte Cjavals ( Italian is) a 210 m high seamount in the Drake Passage west of Elephant Iceland in Archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It lies at a depth of at least 1615 m.
Italian scientists discovered it in 2004 and named it in 2007 at the suggestion of the Italian oceanographer Umberta Tinivella after a mountain of the same name in the Aupa Valley in the Carnic Alps , the home of the scientist.
