The Monti Erei are a mountain range in Sicily . It rises in the center of the island in the Free Community Consortium Enna . The town of Enna is located on the almost 1000 m high Monte San Giuliano .
5 km south of the city is the Lago di Pergusa , the only natural lake in Sicily , at an altitude of 670 m . It is of volcanic origin.
