Monzer Makhous

Monzer Makhous ( Arabic منذر ماخوس, DMG Munḏir Māḫūs , * 1946 in Latakia Governorate ) is a Syrian representative of the Syrian opposition who was sent to France in November 2012 as the permanent representative of the national coalition .

Makhous belongs to the religious minority of the Alawites and was also a member of the Syrian National Council .
