The Moonlight Point is the north-western headland of Aspland Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands .
Participants of the British Joint Services Expedition to the Elephant Island Group (JSEEIG, 1976-1977) named him on the occasion of a canoe trip from O'Brien Island to Aspland Island, during which the headland appeared to them as a silhouette in the moonlight .
