A morning circle is a control instrument in pedagogy .

It serves to address the state of health and the daily form and to define the daily tasks. Children usually sang together and they have the opportunity to exchange ideas.

The morning circle is used in several socio-educational structures such as in schools , day care centers for children, and in psychiatric clinics for patients, mostly adults. It helps the children to define a framework, to get to know structure and rituals.
