Moritz Resek (MR), also: First Prague Smichower porcelain and doll factory of Moritz Resek , was founded in the 19th century porcelain - and doll factory in the Czech town Smichow which a district of the Czech capital today Prague is.

history

The company was founded by Moritz Resek in 1889 and produced not only porcelain "[...] until at least 1920" doll heads made of biscuit porcelain , but also doll parts and jointed dolls.

Such a doll with a four-line marking MR 1895 175 16 3/4 is known from the year 1895 .
