Moritz Wolff (rabbi)
Moritz Wolff (born in Meseritz in 1824 ; died in 1904 ) was a rabbi , philologist and author who came from what is now Poland . He was a member of the German Oriental Society (DMG).
In 1851 Wolff succeeded Carl Heinemann as rabbi of the synagogue in Gothenburg and headed the community until 1899.
