Morten Reitmayer

Morten Reitmayer (* 1963 ) is a German historian .

Life

Reitmayer studied history, literature and sociology at the University of Hanover from 1984 to 1990 . In 1996 he obtained his doctorate as phil. Since 2006 he has been working as a research assistant at the Chair for Modern and Contemporary History at the University of Trier . In 2009 he completed his habilitation. From 2010 to 2012 and since the 2013/14 winter semester, he has held the chair for modern and contemporary history at the University of Trier.

His main research interests are the history of ideas, company history and the social and economic history of the 19th and 20th centuries.
