Moshe Maja ( Hebrew משה מאיה; * August 9, 1938 in Petach Tikwa ) is an Israeli rabbi and former politician.

Life

He received his semicha as a rabbi and was active as such in Yad Eliyahu near Tel Aviv. He was a member of the Shas Knesset from 1992 to 1996. He was also Deputy Minister of Education from 1992 to 1993. Maja is currently the Shas Council of Torah Wise Men. He heads the Zikron Moshe Jeschhiwa in Tel Aviv .
