Moses Muteteka

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Moses Muteteka is a politician in Zambia .

Moses Muteteka was the private secretary of President Levy Mwanawasa . After a car accident in Johannesburg in April 2006, he became secretary in the Ministry of Local Development. In October 2006 he was appointed Deputy Minister for Land. The last two positions in particular relate to very corruption-intensive areas because of public contracts. The Ministry of Land is also politically very sensitive because of the traditional claims of subsistence farmers on land, as they make the construction of agricultural goods and thus industrial agriculture more difficult.

In the 2006 election in Zambia, Moses Muteteka won a seat in the National Assembly for the Movement for Multiparty Democracy in the Chisamba constituency south of Kabwe .
