Mouline

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A mouline is a multicolored twisted yarn . At least two threads of different colors are twisted, creating an at least two-tone color effect.

The mouline twine is very even and easy to process. Various color and texture effects can be achieved depending on the colors and yarn counts used. A mouline can also be produced as a yarn dyer from a raw yarn, the so-called over-dyeing mouline (differential dyeing). The prerequisite for this is that the twisted threads can be colored differently. This is e.g. B. the case when one thread of the mouline consists of cotton (CO) and the other of polyacrylonitrile (PAN).
