The Mount Arthur is a mountain in northeastern Australian state of Tasmania . It is located about 21 km northeast of Launceston and about 10 km southeast of Lilydale .
Because of its short distance from Launceston, there are a large number of transmission towers at its summit. WayFM (98.1 MHz and 105.3 MHz) in Launceston and the radio station for the Christian communities in northern Tasmania have their transmitter masts there.
