Mountain Brothers (music project)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mountain Brothers is the joint music project of the two Austrian DJs Marco Neuhauser (Marco M-zee) and Kurt Sch. (Crazy Curty). The idea for a joint recording came up in the winter of 2005/06 in Ischgl , where both work as DJs during the winter months.

Marco M-zee was born in Steyr and has been a DJ since 1989. Among other things, he plays in the Oberbayern discotheque on Mallorca and at major events such as the largest bowling party in the world. He has already released four singles under the name DJ Marco. Crazy Curty comes from Salzburg and has been a record distributor since 1990.

For their first single together, they backed the song Sweet Caroline , originally by Neil Diamond , with typical alpine mood rhythms. After this version had developed into a hit in the ski resorts of Austria over the winter, the song was released as a single in mid-February 2006 and immediately entered the Austrian charts.
