Mourgue d'Algue & Cie is a Swiss private banker specializing in investment advice and asset management . The bank was founded in 1869 as Philippe Grosset & Cie and changed owners several times over the generations, and with it its name. From 1906 it was called Grosset, Tagand & Cie , from 1914 Tagand, Pivot & Cie and from 1940 to 1976 MM. Pivot & Cie . In 1976 the bank was taken over by Messrs Mourgue d'Algue & Cie, whereupon it was renamed to the name it is today. The bank is organized in the form of a limited partnership with currently three unrestricted and jointly liable partners from the Mourgue d'Algue family.
