Movetwo are a German composer duo consisting of Markus Löffler and Axel Kornmesser . The two Munich musicians and producers have been working together on various musical projects since 1997. Since 2004 the two artists have been operating under the name "movetwo".

Markus Löffler plays the piano and cello and can support compositions on the electric bass, drums and guitar. Already at the age of 17 he was interested in studio work and sound engineering and produced his first own compositions. For many years he traveled with bands as a keyboardist or as a sound engineer and took care of the studio work.

Axel Kornmesser is a musician with stage and studio experience as a singer and guitarist.

The musical focus is on setting nature documentaries to music. In this context, Movetwo arrange different music styles, from film music to ambient, chill out, lounge, pop or electro.

Productions

In 2005, the documentary film Hubble - 15 Years of Discovery about 15 years of history of the NASA / Esa Hubble space telescope is released on behalf of ESO ( European Southern Observatory ) . The soundtrack for the film, composed especially for the film, will be Movetwo's first joint release.

In 2006 movetwo produced the title Wildlife for the TV commercial "3 Euro save his world" by the "World Wide Fund For Nature" ( WWF ), which was broadcast again in 2008.

2008: Music composition and production for the media prize “Strong Family”. The Albert Schweitzer Children's Villages and Family Works award the “Strong Family” media prize to films about strong families. The media prize “Strong Family” 2008 was awarded on November 8th in the Erfurt Theater.

In 2008 movetwo produced the theme music and all sound effects for the official trailer of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) and UNESCO for the International Year of Astronomy 2009 (IYA) .

In 2009 Movetwo published the documentary Eyes on the Skies in collaboration with ESA , for which they compose the music and create sound effects. Eyes on the Skies is one of the official films for the 2009 International Year of Astronomy and shows 400 years of telescope history and insights into the future of astronomy.

In 2009 Movetwo produced the title Beauty of Borneo for the TV commercial Orangutan of the World Wide Fund For Nature ( WWF ).

In 2010 Movetwo produced the music for two commercials under the motto Tiger in Need of the World Wide Fund For Nature ( WWF ).

In 2011 Movetwo released the chillout album Sloppy Chilled .

In 2011 Movetwo produced the music for the 2011 TV and radio campaign of the “World Wide Fund For Nature” ( WWF ) “5 euros save his world” for endangered elephants.

In 2012 Movetwo worked on behalf of ESO ( European Southern Observatory ) for the documentary Europe to the Stars - ESO's First 50 Years of Exploring the Southern Sky, for which they composed the music and created the sound effects.

In 2013 Movetwo provided the music for the TV campaign under the motto “Yesterday it was still there” by WWF Germany .

In 2015 Movetwo provided the music for the Osram company's Light Guys Internet campaign .
