MuLab (called MUTON during development and marketed as LUNA when it was first released in 2006 ) is a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) for Mac OS X and Windows that is being developed by MuTools.

MuLab is available in three versions, which differ in their range of functions. If the limits specified in the Free or XT Edition are exceeded, the program fades in background noises. Only the most expensive program variant, MuLab UL, does not have this restriction.

MuLab can be used as a VST host and also as a ReWire master. You can also synchronize and control external hardware via MIDI Clock Out, for example.
