Nicos Baikas
Nicos Baikas ( Greek Νίκος Μπάικας , * 1948 in Athens ) is a Greek artist. He became known in Germany as a participant in documenta IX in 1992. Baikas aims to synthesize words and images in his work, so the works are often in black and white.
Baikas studied first in Athens and later in Florence at the Accademia delle Arti del Disegno . He has been an artist since 1977 and lives in Kalamaki.
