Mucky Foot Productions Ltd. was an English developer studio for computer games based in Guildford .
The studio closed its doors in November 2003 after financial difficulties.
history
Mucky Foot was founded in February 1997 by Mike Diskett, Fin McGechie and Guy Simmon, three former game developers from Bullfrog Productions .
In the following years the studio released games such as Urban Chaos , Startopia and Blade 2 for various platforms.
In November 2003, the 40-man studio was closed. The main reason was, among other things, the termination of a publisher order, which is why the studio got into financial difficulties. The title Bulletproof Monk , which was last worked on at Mucky Foot, was never published; even a nameless project by the developer never saw the light of day.
