Muhammed BS Jallow

Muhammed BS Jallow (* 1960 ) is a Gambian politician and civil servant in the West African state of Gambia . From August 2019 to May 2020 he was Secretary General and Head of Public Service.

Life

President Adama Barrow appointed Jallow as general secretary and chief of public service on August 22, 2019. He is the successor to Ebrima O. Camara , who was transferred to the Foreign Service. Before this appointment, Jallow was Secretary of State in the President's Office ( English Permanent Secretary at the Office of the President ).

With effect from May 26, 2020, Nuha Touray became his successor, Jallow retired the day before . He has been appointed Deputy Executive Secretary in the Senegalo-Gambian Permanent Secretariat .
